Hyperion Demo-System.
Hyperion is a free tool designed to help developers and artists to quickly create and prototype realtime 3D solutions: demos, benchmarks, little applications or games.

Key Frame animator Editor - open source.
The Keyframe Editor allows you to create and edit keyframed channels for the Animation COMP.
To open the Animation Editor, change any pane to the Animation Editor pane type.
The Animation Editor will display the channels found inside the Animation COMP that is scoped, this is shown in the Path field. Change this path to edit a different Animation COMP by right-clicking on that COMP and selecting Edit Animation....
Click the Add Channel button to create a channel and start animating. The editor lets you create and delete channels, as well as add, edit, or delete keyframes.

RenderPark.
RenderPark is a photo-realistic rendering tool being developed at the Computer Graphics Research Group of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, in Belgium. White Dune.
White_dune is a low level VRML97 tool for Unix/Linux/MacOSX and M$Windows.
It can read VRML97 files, display and let the user change the scenegraph/fields.
Unlike most highlevel tools, it uses a light model based on the VRML97 standard.
White_dune is not complete yet, especially in the 3D preview window. But even if you do not see the node/field in 3D, you can graphically change the values.
White_dune is a simple NURBS/SuperFormula 3D Modeller, but it do not have tools to change polygon meshes (VRML97 IndexedFaceSet nodes) that can be taken seriously (yet).
VRML97 IndexedFaceSet nodes can be created via conversion from NurbsSurface nodes oder SuperFormula PROTOs or by "pure VRML97" export, but for some tasks you may prefer to work with a polygon mesh 3D modeller with VRML97 export and enhance the results (e.g. color, texture, lightning, animation,interaction....) in white_dune. White_dune support the VRML97 Inline node, which allows a workflow by using different tools together.
Beside zillions of closed source 3D modellers with VRML97 export, there are free software/opensource 3D modellers with VRML97 (mesh) export.

JPatch.
JPatch is a spline based 3D modeling tool (a patch modeler similar to animation:master). It can be used to create 3D models for POV-Ray or RenderMan compatible renderers (e.g. Aqsis).

Geist3D - Pangea.
We are making a game to showcase custom game engine called Geist3D. The screenshots are from the latest version of Geist3D. The demo consists of a very large environment which contains two procedural planets as well as few avatars, vehicles, a shuttle, a space station and of course, stargates. The graphics engine supports seamless transition between any two points in the environment and you can use different objects to fly, walk or drive around.
