NCC-1701A - Nebula

Another Carrara creation, this time from the Star Trek franchise. The 1701A was the very first thing that I ever made in 3D, using Ray Dream Studio back when it was owned by Fractal Designs, long before it became Carrara owned by Daz3D. Background and textures in PhotoShop, model in Ray Dream, rendered in Carrara. LL&P. :)

Escape from Cloud City

A render made using my pre-made TIE-Fighter and Millennium Falcon models, and a new Cloud City model. I'm pleased with the quality of the rendering, but I may re-do the composition itself, since I don't like how the three TIE-Fighters are so close to the Falcon.

"We're doomed!"

Made in Carrara using almost only Spline Objects - no Mesh Objects and only one Boolean. Took me forever to figure out how to build C-3PO that way, but now he's got full IK, etc.

Warhammer 40K Chaos Marine

Started in Ray Dream but finished in Carrara 4. Based on the tabletop/computer game series "Warhammer 40,000" by Games Workshop. The lightning and some smoke were added in Photoshop.

Attack Pattern Delta!

This is my first post here, but I've been puttering around with Ray Dream and Carrara since 1998 as an amateur. Everything in this scene was originally modelled in Ray Dream except the terrain. The terrain and sky were done in Carrara 4, and the entire scene was rendered in Carrara 4 as well. I hope you enjoy it! (Content (C) Lucasfilm.)
