"Casting for Matt" The most interesting part of work was to find an appropriate actor :) Friends of mine have given many ideas. But most of all disputes were about Leela. No one supported my idea of a Cruz but I stood my ground :) The Black was great idea of my friend, and there is no options as for Amy and professor(shape of skull P. Stewart is ideal for him). Fry was disputed :) First idea was M.J. Fox but... I've catch photo of young Schneider and "Eureka ! it's role for him with no doubt !" Thanks to everyone who helped, participated and was close! Waiting for criticism.

Ksenia Sobchak. Many of Russians hates her for... unknown reasons :) As it seems for me the most possible reasons is envy and angry to other's luck and brightness. I tried to make her similar to original one and show some individuality. This work dedicated to my gf Olga. Her beauty push me to do something like that. The purpose of this work is to force spectator feel a little more than "oh, there is another one 3D gal with D+ breast" :) All I want is to make individuality for this character. Make her uniq. Well, I hope you like it.

I have chosen this particular title not to confuse search engines :) The PURPOSE is to create a photorealistic 3D portrait with the maximum of similarity. Similarity must be caught already at the mesh level, i.e. generally without any texture. Also I decided not to use any texture from Teras photos. That means that it is permitted to take photographic material, but in no case from her photos. As the practice showed, the photo stretched over a typical sphere makes this sphere look like a person whose photo we are taking :) Why have I chosen Tera as a model? First of all, she is pretty cute. Secondly, she has characteristic features. In the beginning I was sure that it will help me (in theory in should be true, especially when a real master works ). However, I suffered a lot from her uniqueness, spice and eastern refinement. The problem was to catch these features first and then to reproduce them. Thanks a lot to my friends. They helped me with their appraisals and endless patience very much ! Any relevant pieces of criticism are welcome.

Flavitsky's Princess Tarakanova 3D So, here is MY 3D VISION of one of the best masterpieces of russian fine art. This is "Princess Tarakanova" painted by Flavitsky in 1864. The subject of this canvas is based on a real story of Russia. There is a woman who called herself Princess Vladimirskaya daughter of Empress Elizaveta, so it means she had pretensions for the crown of Russia. She was captured by order of Ekaterina II and prisoned in Petropavlovskaya fortress. There she died of tuberculosis. They thought she died during the flood in 1777 in St. Petersburg when many prisoners drown in their cells. Also, many years later when she was given the name of Princess Tarakanova, the title of real illegitimate daughter of Elizaveta and Razumovsky. The real daughter was a nun, and noone knows her history for sure... On this illustration you may see her during the flood in Petropavlovskaya fortress. The original is kept in Trtyakovskaya gallery, Moscow. Always welcome :-)
