Making of Punk.
Punk is a character inspired from one of the models of 3d.sk. The intention was to make a character aesthetically pleasing, stands out from the rest and has a unique design. After some research I found out that, there were not many models of punk type characters, so I decided to go in that direction. In this article, I will try to explain the process I followed to create the character.

Landscaping using free scripts.
One of the major advantages of MAX is the plethora of free scripts out there.
There are scripts for everything, from painting tools to scripts that create weird shapes, and even some that allow for creating entire buildings parametrically.
One thing that I enjoy is doing the landscaping for projects. Painting on grass, trees, rocks, placing flower beds, growing ivy up walls and around tree trunks&call me crazy, but there is something satisfying about creating the ordered chaos of gardens for architectural renderings.
Two scripts that I ALWAYS use in this regard are the MOVE TO SURFACE script , and RANDOM SELECT, both of which are tiny, simple, and free.
For an example of how these two simple scripts are used to create a small piece of landscaping, visit our link

Making of breeze of the past.
The work consists of an old office room in good condition, still in use even now. I started this work wanting to create a silent story, so I made the components of the room appear to be speaking for themselves.

Acceleration & Deceleration.
I've always hated jerky exact computer movement, keyframe animation is a fantastic way to animate but can leave the movement all too unnatural. Proper keyframing will improve this, but with track-view animation editing you can achieve this with out too much hassle.
Create a simple animation. In this example, a sphere animated from left to right over 100 frames is enough to see the effect. Go into the track-view and highlight the transform-position of the sphere. It will be necessary to toggle the assign controller (Top tollbar) button and select XYZ Position. Then, after selecting the X Position, (In my case I animated along the x axis only so the other two don't matter) you will see a Linear Curve, this strait exact line is creating the exacting jerky movement. By right clicking on any of the keyframes you will open the property inspector, hold down the ease in or out buttons and select the very last selection. This is a beizer corner, so grab the toggle handle and make it flat. You now have created a logarithmic curve and this causes the "tweening" frames to act in a more natural way.
